Love motorsports? The Beaver Dam Raceway is a 1/3 mile clay oval track that is host to modified, grand nationals, Legends, sport modified, street stock racing and more! Or is birding and hiking more your speed? The Horicon Marsh is just minutes away for you to explore 30,000 acres of cattail wetlands and wildlife, with hiking and biking trails, paddling, and more!

Visit a variety of unique specialty shops and find a great selection of home decor, clothes, jewelry, furniture, and flowers. If you're looking for something specific, try one of our big box stores. Farmers Market every Tuesday and Saturday from May through October.

Arts & Culture

For those that appreciate and have a love for the arts, Beaver Dam embraces them all - performing arts include theater, music and dance, art gallery and exhibits, and music and art classes. You will find a variety of arts and cultural events happening all year long including orchestral and band concerts, theater shows and programs, and a variety of live music cover bands. Beaver Dam is also home to 25+ murals, 19 of which were painted by the Walldogs.

With more than 6700 acres and 42 miles of shoreline, Beaver Dam Lake is the 16th largest lake in the state of Wisconsin and offers plenty of water adventure opportunities including fishing, boating, and paddling in the summer, duck hunting in the fall, and ice fishing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing in the winter.

Our award-winning Beaverland Must-skis waterski team offers exciting, jam-packed shows throughout the summer at Tahoe Park beginning Memorial Day.

Plan a day or weekend excursion paddling the Beaver Dam River; a class I rated river with known for its whitewater and lazy river sections that winds through the city, rural farmland, and scenic wooded corridors.
