Something sinister has happened in Beaver Dam…and we need your help solving the crime.
This October, step into the story during Mystery & Mayhem Weekend, an interactive murder mystery adventure where you become the detective.
Explore downtown Beaver Dam. Collect clues. Question suspects. Uncover secrets. Piece together the evidence.
But be careful—not everything is as it seems, and more than one person may have something to hide.
Can you determine what happened, identify the culprit, and crack the case before the final reveal?
Gather your team, put your detective skills to the test, and prepare for a weekend of mystery, intrigue, and mayhem!

How much you participate is up to you—but the longer you’re here, the more time you’ll have to gather clues, interview characters and piece together the case.
Whether you’re a seasoned murder mystery enthusiast or simply looking for a unique weekend adventure, Mystery & Mayhem Weekend welcomes you. You can jump into the investigation for one day or immerse yourself in the full two-day experience.
Coming Friday? Start your investigation by exploring downtown Beaver Dam and visiting participating businesses to collect clues and uncover information that will help you build your case. Stay overnight and return Saturday to continue investigating, interview characters, ask questions and uncover even more details about what happened.
Joining us Saturday? You’re absolutely welcome! Get checked in, gather clues, interview the characters and see if you can piece together what really happened—all in one day.
The longer you investigate, the more opportunities you’ll have to collect clues and interview characters—and the better your chances of solving the case. Whether you spend one day or the entire weekend investigating, you’re part of the mystery.
Don't Miss a Major Clue!
The Coroner’s Report will be revealed Saturday at Noon.
One of the most important pieces of information in the investigation will be revealed when the Coroner’s Report is read at Noon on Saturday.
Saturday participants should plan to be checked in and ready to investigate by Noon so they don’t miss this critical revelation.
This could be the clue that changes everything. Be there. Listen closely. And take notes.
The Case Begins October 16

Mystery & Mayhem Weekend unfolds throughout downtown Beaver Dam, giving you two days to investigate the case, follow the clues, interview characters, and determine what really happened.
Friday, October 16 | 5 PM - 8 PM
Uncover the Clues & Start Your Investigation
The investigation begins Friday evening in downtown Beaver Dam.
- Pick up your mystery adventure and visit participating businesses throughout downtown to collect clues, uncover information and begin building your case.
- Pay attention to the details. Look beyond the obvious. And remember—not every clue tells the whole story.
Joining us for the full weekend? This is your opportunity to get a head start on the investigation before Saturday’s interviews and revelations.
Joining us Saturday only? Don’t worry—you can still participate! You’ll begin your investigation when you arrive Saturday and have the opportunity to gather clues, interview characters and work toward solving the case.
Saturday, October 17 | 10 AM - 4 PM
Continue the Investigation & Question the Characters
The investigation continues Saturday as you meet characters connected to the mystery and begin uncovering what they know.
- Ask questions. Listen carefully. Investigate their stories. Separate fact from fiction and determine who is telling the truth—and who may have something to hide.
- Use the clues you’ve gathered and the information you uncover from the characters to connect the dots and build your case.
A MAJOR CLUE IS REVEALED AT NOON!
One of the most important pieces of evidence in the case will be revealed when the Coroner’s Report is read at Noon on Saturday.
All Saturday participants should be checked in at Noon so they don’t miss this critical piece of the investigation.
Coming for the full weekend?
You’ll already have clues and information from Friday to help guide your interviews and investigations. Use what you’ve discovered to ask better questions, spot inconsistencies and dig deeper.
Joining us Saturday only?
You’re still in the game! Start your investigation Saturday, gather clues, interview characters and piece together the mystery throughout the day.
Just make sure you’re checked in by Noon.

The Final Reveal

It’s time to put your detective skills to the test.
Combine the clues you’ve gathered, the information you’ve uncovered and the stories you’ve heard. Look for inconsistencies, connections and details others may have overlooked.
At 5 PM Saturday, gather with your fellow detectives for the Final Reveal, when the mystery is revealed and the truth finally comes to light.
